Steps for adding local exceptions to the Proxy.

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2.Find the Tools drop down Menu, Select Internet Options.

3. Choose the Connections Tab, select Lan Settings at the bottom.

4.Check the "Bypass proxy server for local addresses."

5. Click on the Advanced button.

6. Add 10.*.*.*; to the exceptions box.

7. Click OK until you get out of the config boxes. Now you can type in the IP address of a local machine.
